Export All URLs Plugin

This plugin allows you to extract Titles, URLs, and Categories of built-in post types (e.g post, page) or any other custom post type available on your website.

How To

Export All URLs is located under Tools.

  1. Select the Post Type
Suggestion: If you have a lot of pages, posts, events, or documents, then create these exports separately.
  2. Select the Export Fields
Suggestion: Select at least Titles and URLs for Pages exports. For Posts exports select Titles, URLs, and Categories.
  3. Select the Post Status.
This is another way to separate the data in the export.
  4. Show Filter Options allows you to select a Date Range and Author.
  5. Show Advanced Options offers more filtering options that are probably not useful to most.
  6. Select the Export type.
    1. Output here
      1. Output here will provide a table of the data that you can copy and paste into another document program, like Excel or Google sheets.
      2. Select Export Now
    2. CSV File
      1. CSV File will provide a CSV file for you to download once you edit the URL
      2. Select CSV file then select Export Now button.
      3. At the top of the page, you will see three new lines of information.
      4. In the first line beginning with Data exported select Click here.
By default, this will open the link in a new tab. Do not worry about the “AccessDeniedAccess Denied…”
      5. In the URL for this export, remove the extra “/” slash between the site ID number and the year, and select the “Enter” key.
      6. A Save As window will pop up for you to save the export file.
      7. Housekeeping: Please select “Click Here” in the second line at the top of the page to delete the file.
The URL of the exported CSV file with the double slashes highlighted in yellow.

Note: If you happen to look at the Show Advanced Options and see the CSV File Path option, removing the slash in front of the year will not provide the current link to download the file. Crazy I know. But it doesn’t work.
