What We Are Working on
Web Design System
- WSU Content Scanner: Efren has added more features to search for Posts, Pages, or All (includes Events, HTML Snippets, Articles, etc). This tool searches the whole network. More search features are being added. This plugin is network activated and only available to Super Admin users.
- For website-specific searches, use the search available on the Posts, Pages, etc.
- Menus for WDS 4.0: Adam is researching the best configuration for vertical, horizontal, mobile, and mega menus. (Mega Menus will have a very specific use case.)
- Exceptions for our server configuration: Danial added an exception for Google’s AdWords to our server configuration, plus an easier way to add other exceptions.
- Google’s Search Console is not part of those exceptions. Submit a web support ticket if you want a website added to our Search Console account.

- Google Search Console: Follow these steps to set up your website in Google’s Search Console.
- Domains: Expect 1-2 weeks for a wsu.edu domain and a month for a .org domain.
- Google Account: Turn your WSU email address into a Google account for access to Google Analytics and Search Console.
- Accessibility Dashboard Information: The Accessibility Dashboard generates a report for some accessibility and usability issues on your website. The report is generated monthly, unless manually triggered to run a new report.
