What We Are Working on

Project Websites

  • wsu.edu launched today!!!! See a goof or a glitch? There is a feedback form on every page.
  • pullman.wsu.edu launched earlier this week!!! See a blunder or a bug? There is a feedback form on every page.

Web Design System

  • Campus Banner: Coming soon. Just need to add a few more options on the banner.
  • Overlay Spotlight block: An easy way to overlay content on an image with many options for display
  • Stat Block: Many new display options are available.

Projects

  • People Directory & People Plugin: nearly there and it will be fantastic when we can use it.

Glitch List

It is the same as it was last month.

  • WordPress Not Sending Emails: An update will fix WordPress not sending emails to Admins. When fixed Admins may see an influx of notices as WordPress catches up on the missed emails.
  • Hero Slider: There are display, image size, and image display issues.
    Glitch Status: Matt (sound) will confer with the boss about this.
  • People Directory (people.wsu.edu): Adding people is case sensitive. Please use all lowercase letters when adding someone to the site.
    Use: butch.cougar
    Don’t Use: Butch.Cougar
    Glitch Status: Patience, we’re getting right to it. Submit a web support ticket for general help if you think you have a duplicate profile.
  • People Block: People are encountering an error when editing a page with a People block on it. UGH! Please use Safari, FireFox, or Chrome in incognito. If you run into problems with editing the page try clearing their cache in Chrome.
    Glitch Status: Ugh! We are working on it.
  • People Block and Gallery Block: having both of these on a page causes a similar issue as just the People block but clearing the cache or using incognito does not remove the error message.
    Glitch Status: Danial is on it!
