Avoid bold text used to define a section heading. Turn bold text “headings” into the appropriate heading level for the structure of the content.
Don’t bold text that should be a heading.
Bolding more than 6 words does not make the text stand out to the user. Bolding only a few words is better for highlighting significant text.
